" Precious Mettle " in Development
A Screenplay Written by Edmond G Coisson & Glessna F Coisson
Synopsis
An Original Screenplay
Frank has been a fireman for 35 years, and is nearing retirement. He is a Vietnam veteran and a widow since his wife and daughter were killed in an automobile accident 10 years ago.
He enters a new phase of life with a roller coaster of emotions as he finds the existence of another daughter from a relationship of 30 years ago. The mother of this child is dying and asks Frank to help.
Since the death of his family, Frank has been living a day to day, bleak existence, until now, when he has a second chance to be a father again. The road ahead is bumpy after he learns that his new found daughter is a heroin addict.
He devises an elaborate plan to lure his daughter to his home, with the intent to help her with her heroin addiction. Because of the rope, dog collar and shuttered windows we believe him to be nothing more than a pervert with evil intentions.
Delirious with withdrawal, believing she is to be raped or killed, days will pass until she realizes that Frank is her biological father.
While all of this is happening, Frank's best friend, Charlie, is murdered.
Frank is now obsessed with finding the murderer of his best friend, while nursing his heroin-addicted daughter.
Police, FBI and friends are as disturbed as Frank about Charlies' death, and they are able to put the pieces together and bring justice to the murderer of his best friend.
“There is no such thing as a bad cop...a bad cop is a criminal.”
We think justice is served, but events shown lead us to a very different outcome when a bad cop takes the fall, but in truth, an ex-wife and lover are the real culprits.
